Prel-Design printed glass allows you to reproduce the image of your choice on one or more glass panels. The image is reproduced using a digital printer which applies one or more layers of liquid ceramic on the surface of the glass. Once the application is completed, the glass is tempered or heat strengthened, in order to fire-fuse the ceramic to the glass.<\/p>\n

Glass makeup<\/h4>\nMonolithic glass<\/h5>\n
The ceramic coating is applied on face #2 on the supporting lite of glass.* The glass must be heat strengthened or fully tempered.\u00a0 It is not recommended to expose the ceramic coating to the elements. Use on an external face should be avoided.<\/p>\n
Laminated Glass<\/h5>\n
The ceramic coating can be applied on face # 2, 3 or 4 of laminated glass.* For exterior applications all the glass plies that make up the laminated glazing should be heat strengthened or fully tempered.<\/p>\n
Insulating Glass<\/h5>\n
The ceramic coating is applied on face #2 or 3 of the insulated glass unit.*\u00a0 The two lites that make up the unit should be heat strengthened or fully tempered.<\/p>\n
